RISE Learning Network

The RISE Learning Network promotes and facilitates learning on recovery and (re)integration for children and adolescents affected by sexual exploitation. The network is active in three regions – Latin America and the Caribbean, sub-Saharan Africa and South & Central Asia. After a successful first phase of development that included an evaluation of the network’s initial progress, RISE coordinators engaged Network Impact to support planning for a second phase.

Through focus groups, interviews and desk research, Network Impact performed a strategic review to provide RISE with network building recommendations. A key finding of this review was that, as the network moved from a community of practice to a network with emerging clusters of organizations engaged in joint advocacy work, RISE needed to adjust its structure to accommodate new strategic initiatives, while still supporting a core learning community.
